Beneath the surface of every person there are layers that make up who we are as individuals. Every moment that has led us up to today has shaped who we are.

      Who am I? I am made up of every memory from my past, every interaction with another, every friend, or loved one who has been apart of my life has made an impact on me. I am a reflection of the life I have lived.

       I chose to portray my true self by looking within and depicting what lies beneath my surface. I layered my past memories onto a series of self-portraits by using a layering technique with InkAid transfers. Those memories make up who I am today.
